I apologize if this has already been covered but I'm not willing to sort through 12 pages of this thread to find out (at work on my lunch hour - time is a premium).

I loved watching Obummers statement about this event. He gave due recognition to the military and Spec Op's folks but then mentioned how he had consulted his Intel team then after that it was all "I" this and "I" that ("I decided there was enough evidence to proceed...").
I realize that he had to authorize the operation, but really? He makes it sould like he alone put the intel together and decided it was GTG. In reality I suspect he was being strongly urged to proceed.
You can certainly tell it is pre-election season.
BTW: I know it would be too offensive in un-PC, but we should have taken and advertised pics of us shoving a pig shout into Bin Laden's mouth, tying it in place, then tossing his dead ass into the sea (no religious honors whatsoever).
Now, time to smack the poop out of Pakistan for hiding his butt for the last 10 years.

however, i am not a politician and don't understand the butt kissing and arrogance that is essential to get re-elected. i personally would have made it as least political as possible (and the funny thing is probably received more from it for doing so) but obama was sure to throw little niblets in there about how awesome he is.
either way, im glad we got him and don't give a hoot who was in office when it happened.
I hope they chummed the ocean really good with pig blood and parts to attract a bunch of sharks, before they dumped his dead ass in.
