When I was still in the working world, I used to absolutely live for the weekends. Now every day is like Saturday for me. Your day will come guys, just be patient and keep saving all you can.

PLEASE DO NOT THINK THAT I AM MAKING FUN OF STILL HAVING TO WORK!!!
By the time I get there, I'll need a RASCAL to get the morning paper from the driveway !

yeah I was told by my smith that steel cases in an AR wasn't exactly an "optimal" idea.

I have yet to have any issues outside of an operator error.

We have it f***ing easy compared to my bros and sis' fighting overseas.
Very good point! I guess when we sit here whining about it only being whatever day of the week it is, we should consider the guys and gals that are out there serving our country. I recind my comment that it is crap that it isn't Friday yet. Thank you to all of you who are, have, or will be spending your weekends serving our country!!!

I have a lot to complain about, but since things are starting to finally look positive for me, in relation to finding work with a company that is really taking care of me, I dare not say anything about anything.

My truck blew a u-joint. Again. That's crap (although that's really my fault).
My dryer only stays on for 20 min at a time and then overheats. That's crap.
My dishwasher doesn't wash the dishes. That's crap.
My A/C (house AND truck) doesn't work. That's really crap.
    My roof leaks. That's crap.
My service porch (where the washer/dryer/water heater/etc. are) flooded during one of those wrath-of-God downpours, but I stayed at the girlfriend's house that night and so I can't tell if it came in through the garage that doesn't seal right or the drain that goes to the sewer that has flooded before, and therefore can't fix it. That's crap.
My water heater only gives me enough hot water for 20min in the shower (I don't take that long by myself, but the girlfriend stays over sometimes and joins me which makes the showers take a while). That's definitely crap.
My iPhone won't take a charge, so I'm stuck with this POS brick that I can't figure out how to use. That's crap.
    My xbox died. That's crap.
Nobody has shown serious interest in my truck, even though its listed for a grand less than the next lowest one. That's crap.
Neither my xbox or phone are working after multiple attempts to fix them by a tech-genious buddy (who's fixed both products for others many times and is stumped). That's crap.
I can't find work because employers don't want to hire somebody that's only gonna be around for 4 months. That's crap.
I still have another 4 months till I ship out. That's crap.
Unless my girlfriend gets a new place or we get a place before I ship out, I have no clue what I'm going to do with my dog when I leave. That's crap.
Ants keep showing up in my house and I can't for the life of me figure out where they're coming from. That's crap.
I have to participate in a PT "assessment" today (see where you're at in preparation for a real PT test) "so the chubby's don't feel singled out" (reason given by Station Commander). Despite being one of the only ones (two of us) that regularly come within a few points of maxing our PT tests. That's crap.
    I'm awake. That's crap.

I know this is mostly small stupid things, but I haven't had my coffee yet (read: I'm pissed of at the world and everything in it because I am not sleeping right now, and I haven't taken my medication for that... aka caffeine+nicotene).
