DOJ seems to think they have run afoul of the Lacey Act which requires you abide by all the exporting country's laws regarding the import of plant products. While agree there are much bigger things to worry about, there is a law about this. Some how I suspect Gibson is on someone's shit list and this is just some punitive action.

We each accept this abuse, waiting for 'someone else' to start the game, afraid to face evil on our own. Perhaps we should each, as individuals, draw our own line - not in the sand, but in steel-reinforced concrete. If someone else, or several others, choose to join in, so much the better. We are all going to die anyway, why not die for a good cause - resist!

Who knows; it just might turn out OK - the colonials came out as individuals and small groups on the 19th of April and chased the Brits back to Boston after the Brits finally took it a bit too far. When the dust finally settled, they had a country of their own.

Perhaps it is time to emulate our ancestors; hold the moral high ground - don't start anything, but decisively finish anything the thug-swarm starts.

    Fixed it...

This! Well said Milt! Jefferson put it best: "Every 25 years or so government needs to be reminded that this country was founded on revolution and that spirit still exists in ever American."

Unfortunately, this seems to be true - most of my fellow old farts have joined the FSA (free shit army). We do need to put our money where our mouths are - I have chosen (many years ago) to avoid being 'part of the problem'. I have not taken stolen money (anything derived from taxes) since I quit my government 'job' back in the early '70s.

To those who say, "I paid in and I want my 'retirement." the only answer is, "Too bad; the money is gone." The 'trust fund' was raided by the Clinton crew in the '90s to 'balance' the budget. Any current payments come out of new taxes. The fact that a thief took your stuff does NOT give you a valid claim to your neighbor's stuff...

My question is, if SS is gone, then why are we still paying it?
