    Just figure out were you want to put the pegs/controls it helps alot.

    What makes a cafe cruiser? From what I can tell from pictures, it is uncomfortable looking handle bars and seats, and less fairings.

    I really like the "cafe racer" look having seen those type of bikes when I was in high school back in the late 70s, nothing like an RD350 thats been converted to a cafe racer.

    I'd love to build one!

    we chopped an 02' HD sporty and made a rigid bobber that now gets alot of looks.
    2 bike cops came up on each side of me and said nice bobber before leaving.

    When the timing is right (and there is a little extra room in the garage) a "cafe racer" is on my short list or two-wheeled acquisitions. Nothing wrong with the Jap bikes, but I will most likely go with a Triumph or a BSA.

    Chicks dig them too.
