Really? You have to be THAT guy to point out a typo? You must be an incredibly bored person. Correct a guy on a fact, not an opinion or typo - oh look at me...
Anyways...
I agree with the statement made of "if you want to buy the weapon communicate effectively", however if you want to sell the gun you might need to adapt a little. If it were me in your shoes, I would respond with yes, and if you wish to further conduct business please call me on the number - thank you. Time's a changing, like when the Beatles came to the music scene, the cordless phone was invented, and the email started replacing snail mail. That's my $.000002
I don't mind texting. In fact, probably 70-80% of my activity on my phone is texting. That said, I much prefer to talk to people. Bottom line though is that texting is simply more convenient... it may be a pain in the ass, but a lot of times I or the person I'm talking to is busy with something or other that prevents them from using the phone.
If I'm communicating with someone about a gun or car purchase/sale, I talk on the phone with them... no exceptions. Easier to read people through a phone speaker than a screen.

Leaving repeated messages and phone tag sucks. Texting allows for communication when it's convenient for me and the receiver. If it requires more than 4-5 texts or if I'm closing a deal than I'll call.
You could text him the smiley...

I am one of those old people that like many I know around here have a dozen certs up the ying-yong for computers and what not. I also extend into the net and medical field.
I had a phone call the other day from one of my new Children (Solders) It was something called text to phone where one of them texed my home phone and I got to listen to a computer generated voice telling me what the text was.
Thought it was the funnest thing I have seen in awhile. Technology is a great thing. Sometimes people use it when the old fashion way is better and faster. I watch my kids spend 15 min filling out there time sheet in Excel and it takes me a min to do it by hand after I print it out.![]()
