    Default you'll shoot your eye out .... yep a funny at my expense

    soooo i just got not only my first nib 1911 but my first real 1911 . yep even after r&s and sneaked told me what to do and what not to do i did exactly what your not supposed to do
    ha ha very funny after the fact, but i got myself right in the eye .


    yes its a free laugh on me

    oh and by the way d*mn you sneakerd , , never ever tell me not to push the shiny red button again

    as a virgin 1911 owner myself... what did you do?

    That's my guess. I did the same thing my first time, though it was pointed away from my face. Good thing ya managed to close your eyes before it hit.

    as a side... anyone know what I should do about a "loose" pin on the barrel link of my colt MKIV ? is there anything I can do ?? it falls out when I disassemble and heck sometimes slides partway out during assembly ... very annoying .

    I do not see how that happens?

    I have field stripped mine a dozen times and it just takes a bit of finesse
