I like the wipe down my handles and stuff, good idea. And no, I have the nicest car in the lot, can't swap with brother because we have different schedules tomorrow- I work. And I'm not just being conceited, really it's probably the nicest car in the lot even though it's an '05 BMW 3Series- which my next point, battery, pain in the ass to get to, it's in the trunk and don't want to mess with it. Can't do the video camera thing- the only thing I have is a $1500 camera, they find that it's gone.

Also, just some background, I spent almost every dime I made on deployment on that car, it's my dream car from when I was a youngin' and I would literally kill over it if it came to that- some people don't understand the hard work I put into getting that thing. I'm hoping that these guys were just messing around, trying to make me paranoid or whatever, but in the chance that they were scouting me out let's just say they picked the wrong bull to mess with.
Take out some of the fuses including the starter fuse and the main electrical fuses. Not the battery since this will power the alarm if you have one for it.

Good idea. Hell, just pullling the starter relay and/or the fuel pump relay should take care of it.

The Denver area is pretty safe, but when I lived in Minneapolis there where places where you had to watch your car. I own a nice Del Sol and Honda's are their main choice. I was a part of MNsportcompacts and actually still am.
We had our first club meeting back in 1998 at a buddies house and three cars were broken into and stuff stolen out of them.. Next meeting after trusting all of the "Mods" of the forum, we set out night vision cameras, ran out caught the three kids, hog tied them, and called the cops. No guns were used, but the amount of people running out there surrounding them made the kids stop and drop to the ground.
There is some thefts I have heard of around the Aurora area, but feel comfortable with my Honda sitting outside with the alarm. I always have my gun on me, just because You don't know if you are approaching people with guns. That being said, I do not have my gun drawn and when I have approached people boosting cars I have made sure I in a spot where I can get behind another car if they happen to have a gun. 98% of the time it is just stupid kids boosting cd players etc..
Just make sure you park near a light.. that usually scares most of them off. Also install a $150 car alarm..
I'll keep God and my Guns....
    you can keep Obama.

If guns kill people, can I blame bad spelling on my pencil?
