Still trying to figure out how nobody saw this coming. Why do so many laws that are intended to paint a 1/8" line wind up with a 4' swipe?
While any person with 1/2 a clue could see the "collateral damage" that was going to result from this.
This takes nothing away from the simple fact that it is a stupid law and I am sure will be found DOA shortly. The comment that Pawn shops have to keep records has nothing to do with it. Loan for property=contract=record.
So what is next. A law requiring gun boards to provide an "Opt out" of specific sections and accommodations for (state your cause) challenged members?![]()
