    Still trying to figure out how nobody saw this coming. Why do so many laws that are intended to paint a 1/8" line wind up with a 4' swipe?

    While any person with 1/2 a clue could see the "collateral damage" that was going to result from this.

    This takes nothing away from the simple fact that it is a stupid law and I am sure will be found DOA shortly. The comment that Pawn shops have to keep records has nothing to do with it. Loan for property=contract=record.

    So what is next. A law requiring gun boards to provide an "Opt out" of specific sections and accommodations for (state your cause) challenged members?

    Pawn shops have been forced to keep records of their clients for years. However under this bill they are still allowed to deal in cash.
    Sounds like someone was paying attention. Kinda like the CO casinos being exempt from the new smoking regs.

    The arrogance of some of our politicians is ridiculous. Dictating what people can use for payment?! Really?!!

    What percentage of transactions do the think is illegal? What can they prove?
