My coworker took this fleeing his cabin on Saturday. This video also made it on 9news. He said he was trying to load up a couple of bikes and an elk head on his trailer when he heard the fire coming over the ridge. Said it sounded like a jet engine coming through the trees, so he dropped the trailer and get the hell out of dodge!!!

does anybody know if it is jumping north of highway 14 now?

or what their plan is for containment?

Thats actually not the fire that was really close to him. When he turns the camera and says "Well thats it for the cabin" is the direction of his property and he said a different fire was coming over the ridge onto his property.

Still has no idea if the cabin is lost.

Said it scared the shit out of him and he is not one to be scared to often. Trust me!!

I heard it did jump 14 but thats from people that I talked to today. Haven't confirmed it yet.

It's Been across 14 in a few places but it has been caught and remains a priority to keep it south.
