I have a Honda Civic, get around 42ish highway. My friend has a VW TDI and gets about the same, although he does it with more torque.

Last time I checked, diesel fuel was more expensive than the 85 octane my Civic uses.

For a commuter car, cant justify the premium for the desiel, allthogut I would love it. I have not had any problems with my Honda, but it seems like every time I turn around his VW has some issue that needs attention.

A lot of that depends on the year of each vehicle. What year is your Honda and what year is his Jetta?

Best way to get in to see me at the shop is to call or email Shannon and make an appointment.

All depends on where you get it. At one station by me, regular unleaded is $3.70 a gallon, and diesel is $3.58, but drive two miles down the road, and it's reversed...
