    I just finished The Remaining

It's about a secret US Military guy who's job is to go into his government built bunker anytime something crazy happens in the world "just in case". 9/11 type events, etc.

In the book he is sent down due to a virus outbreak. He stops getting transmissions from his handlers and comes back up to start his job.

I'll give you a hint...The infected turn into hyper-aggressive predators, with an insatiable desire to kill...

Yup a zombie book. It's pretty darn good.

Rent it for free from Amazon if you have Prime.

I will start the second book tomorrow.

i finished "american sniper" last week--i enjoyed it. "War" is also good. i just finished a Vince Flynn book--"Executive Power."

I'm starting a book about Blackwater--its a few years old.

i'd also recommend "unbroken"--the book about the B-24 bombardier who was taken prisoner in Japan in WWII.

Song of Fire and Ice, book 5.

and also "The Law" . . . the whole thing.

I am reading "Hell, I was There" by Elmer Kieth.

Great book, I read it every other year

Written by Chris Kyle, a Navy SEAL. Only about 1/4 of the way through the book but it is extremely enjoyable (to me).
Apparently the Pentagon has officially confirmed more than 150 of Kyle's kills and the previous American record was 109.
    Great read!

Currently reading Half Past Midnight by Jeff Brackett. Pretty fast paced SHTF read.
