What I find works for me is reading Ronin's post just before bed time. What? Oh! Um, forget I said that.

now you've got me wondering if this isn't part of my problem too.

I have both "obstructive" (swallow my tongue) & "centralized" (where my brain quits telling me to breathe) apnea. I finally got my CPAP and an oxygen concentrator around March (after trying to get one for 8+ years). I knew it was helping, but I didn't realize how much until last week when I fell asleep before putting on my mask. The next day I was a walking zombie (and damned glad none of you were around to 'solve' that problem for me). CPAP's are literally lifesavers!

Sleep disorders are really no laughing matter as sleep depravation can cause serious health issues as well as running the risk of falling asleep while driving (this happened to me just before I got my CPAP - luckily I was stopped at a red light and I never released pressure from the brake).

Ronin, do whatever you have to do to get the sleep you need. While we like to tease you, this site wouldn't be the same without you!
