i agree with the sentiments of the owners whole heartedly, but things like this seem childish to me. what, we aren't going to serve people now because of their political beliefs? come on.

But it's OK to refuse to serve/allow gun owners into your business? If one is fine, so is the other. Businesses should be allowed to refuse service to anyone, and if someone is part of an administration that says business owners need to share what they have because they didn't make their business what it is they should be allowed to refuse service for that reason as well.
