Well, since you had an RTD moment, I want to share the north Denver frustration of paying taxes for a transit system that serves the Hell out of south, east, and west Denver

2040 and we might see light rail. Somehow I think the line running to Lone Tree will need revitalization before then and no one up here will see any thing for the millions we have poured into the political bog known as RTD.

Back to your OP, did you consider just whipping it out and hosing down the wheels on that fancy ride

Also, it sometimes comes in handy to just play deaf when the private security walks up and you don't feel much like conversating. If you don't talk, or react in any way, most of the personnel will walk away. This of course assumes that you are not on posted private property.

Don't EVER get into a car accident with an RTD bus. They are self insured and are NOT members of arbitration. So that means when they tell you, "We're not paying for your totaled ride because buses have right of way at all times and can run a red light so it's your fault." There is no way you can fight against that ruling.

I have to agree with Monky on this one. If you get in an accident with the light rail it's your fault but if a bus runs a light at 8th and Lincoln hitting your vehicle, throwing it into a billboard stand, and killing 2 people in the car it's theirs. You can google that incident. It happened 2 years ago. My ex worked for the law firm that represented RTD at the time.

No doubt that Bigun1962 is a security guard..... not that there is anything wrong with that...... but I'm waiting now to hear about the security secret squirrel community. When do you think the new fitness video will be out? Perhaps he will teach some of his secret mall ninja techniques..... or perhaps his super-secret method of getting away with illegal transfers outside the gunshows?
