The roaring silence after 9/11 , not leaving out the first attempt using a van loaded with explosives domne years prior to that day and up to present day. There has been a serious lack of condemnation from Muslim's here and around the world .
If there was a public outcry i would reconsider, until then they are all in the same rat infested boat.

What silence? They were celebrating in middle east and south east asia. In Gaza, they were passing out candies and calling it a new holiday. In Indonesia, they printed tshirts w/ osama bin ladin face and calling him a nabi. Til today the most moderate and largest muslim country in the world, Osama bin ladin is considered a hero. They were chanting osama and obama in 2008 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

So no roaring silence... it's way worse the other way around. They celebrated the attack. Fuck Islam.

Not meaning to be overly dramatic here, but I swore to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I would bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I would obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

I believe in the 1st Amendment (and 2nd J) – what I do not believe in, is being reactive to a group of people who are out to destroy our way of life.

That said, I'd never advocate removal of Muslims from the United States based on their religion. This is a matter of allegiance to the United States of America, loyalty to the Constitution of the United States, and the protection of our Freedom.


Any person or group of people, regardless of faith, gender, sexual orientation, or race, who put our existence at risk by attacking our freedoms and rights, should be targeted as a threat and dealt with accordingly.

Many people of many beliefs have lived, and do live in this great nation of ours, and this is our strength. However, we must always remain vigilant. There are many who would love to see us fall.

I took the same oath, exxonv, and thanks for your service. Currently, I see a greater threat to the fabric and wellbeing of our nation coming from a group of people who are not silent Muslims. Not muslims at all. At least that's what they claim.

There are other threats for sure, and those threats to our Constitution are not just from abroad.

The Chick-fil-A issue wasn't about chicken or religion, it was about the First Amendment. Clearly there are anti-gun people after our freedom to own firearms - and what's next? Speech, religion, and then...

I did to my best friend/ neighbor whom i known since childhood.. but when the mob came, he sided w/ the mob and helped them burn my house because my family and I are non muslim. There is no such thing as moderate muslim.

the silence i was referring to was the Lack or condemnation from any Muslim country decrying the attacks. To this day the silence from the muslim world including CAIR and the yahoos up in michigan remains a serious issue.

Yep, I was lucky enough as I was already US resident and able to reach the embassy in time. My bro had to witness the most gruesome things. He said he can still smell it whenever he thinks back.
