Thanks gents, although I never really did anything in the Marines anyways lol, both times I came close to dying...I slept through it all!
By "gucci gear", I just mean the finest gear money can by. Columbia and Patagonia clothing, Marmot tents, Mountain Hardwear Sleeping bags, Thermarest Prolite pads, Osprey Aether packs, Hill People Gear kit bags, etc etc. And as far as Subarus, I sold my 06 Jeep Wrangler and 06 Dodge Ram this year because I couldnt afford the gas anymore, the Subaru Forester that replaced them can handle itself onroad and off, and I love it
