Conservatives get mad when you lie to them.

Liberals get mad when you tell them the truth.

They also get angry when you catch them lying.

The way I see it- Libertarians favor small government, personal responsibility, pro-business, less government programs, and less government involvement in personal matters.

Socialists favor more government, more dependence, more programs, less responsibility, and government can manage your life for you.

The LEFT is more inclined to emotional interjection.

Classic Liberal - Freedom to do as you want
Classic Conservative - Nothing changes

Modern liberal - freedom to have sex with any one and government pays for everything, special interest groups get special favors, belief in socialism and social justice (i.e., unequal justice)

Modern Conservative - belief in the Creator, self-government, republican federalism, rule of law, everyone is equal, equal justice

Democrat party founded by Andrew Jackson and the party of slavery

Early Republican Party originally founded by Thomas Jefferson, evolved into Whigs, and then into the modern Republican Party

Libertarians - akin to classic liberals
