If you have noticable wear after 20 rounds you have serious issues... just sayin.

I get that its good out of the gate, but nothing tells me tis going to be any better than whats always worked over the long term.

There used to be this micro or nano lube stuff that was all the rage, people were treating everything with it and remarking how "slick" it was. Never hear about it anymore.

I personally just use CLP, available almost everywhere, , works awesome, reasonably priced AND it has teflon particles which will "soak" into the metal pores over time etc.

Now I have been wanting to try the froglube since I see it at the gunshows here and there, but have just not ponied up for it yet. Maybe if it were available at fine stores everywhere it would be a more likely thing for me to pick up.

Check out the original post with a link to FL and how it came about.

Probably the biggest reason I bought was because Im a washout from BUD/s class 218

I wanted to be a SEAL bad, but not bad enough I guess and my swim buddy went on to make the Teams and always said I should have been with him.

Oh don't think you wasted your money by just using it like a normal lube, it works great that way. Figure this, your gun gets pretty darn hot when you fire it!

But after a treatment or two, then after a normal cleaning you should just be able to put a light coat on the moving parts and in the barrel and be good to go.

Kevin also turned me on to frog lube when he sold me my 6920. By the way Kevin is about the best person you could ever hope to deal with and his prices are good, but i digress. I got home lubed up my gun went out and put 300 rounds through it, some just as fast as I could pull the trigger, not one issue, came home and cleanup was beyond easy, stuff wiped right off, was gonna relube but didn't, took it out and ran another 300 rounds through it and again no problems. came home cleaned it up and it still had a lubed feel to it though i did relube the gun and cleaned it this time. I now use frog lube on everything i own. use a little liquid on the snake to run through the barrel. Stuff works, doesn't stain stuff if ya get some on your clothes and smells good. when your shooting it goes from a paste to a liquid then when things cool off it goes back into a paste. I can't say enough good things about frog lube or Kevin.
