Discussion is an exchange of intelligence. Argument is an exchange of
ignorance. Ever found a liberal that you can have a discussion with?

Just curious how you all vote on the judges?
I spend 3 to 4 hours going through the data on Judges up for retention. If they don't have a minimum 75% retention recomendation from those queried and 100% from the panel, I usually vote for ousting them. Beyond that (about half) you really have to dig. I ended up voting against retention on about 60% this time.

I didn't spend quite that much time on it, but I've done it this way in 08 and this time as well (I moved here in 06). I only voted to release 1 of the judges this time because she had 60 something % recommendation from attorneys, although 100% from the panel. It seems the panel is pretty much a unanimous entity too... anyone else find that at all strange?
