Other than being a bit long, I don't see why to get so ruffled. Sure this thread is called Funny Pictures, but it's generally a pretty common thing on any given forum to generally have a Funny/Strange/Random type picture thread where all the interesting things we find on the net get dumped. One could argue some of the "funny" stuff here is pretty boring.

Or you could always just make 15 different picture threads which get posts once a week at best and maybe one with all the traffic...
