Yeah, I wasn't enjoying having to sit in your garage and fill out the form and then leave my purchase there. I have to wonder if CBI is intentionally taking their time to get these done.
well duh.
I just transferred a gun to someone from Texas, he stated that no checks on long guns and permit carriers only need the permit number written down for handguns, no waiting/calling. I tend to agree that there is somewith the current process. I am in no way implying that someone that shouldn't own a gun is able to get one, but what about a non-violent offender, maybe someone driving more than 25 miles an hour over the limit,?
theis the CBI red tape, just as the clerk in TX can call the FBI so can a clerk in CO do the same AND there is no reason why someone with a ccw can get a "no wait pass" in CO other than it's the process. It's just more bureaucracy that costs taxpayers more $$$ IMHO.
Oh come fair weather 2nd supporters, the state cbi bureaucracy check is absolutely necessary. It runs so efficiently. (Sarcasm)
I'm currently waiting on a check for items that I ordered long before the latest events unfolded and just arrived last week. I think that I should be able to go to the head of the line.![]()
