Yep... I'll stick with the buckhorns. Peep sights look ok on my Marlin (Skinner sights), but that just looks wrong to me for some reason.

Steve's also offers this plug as an option to the ugly safety or sight.

Any sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice.

Ordered one a couple weeks ago in .357 and it showed up at my FFL today. Just waiting on the BGC now.

Absolutely no experience with them, but you're welcome to shoot it anytime.

It hurts to shoot and that's why I found one in .357/.38 special. It's much more pleasant to shoot than the .44 mag.

I do love them both. Just because of the 'cowboy' feel. I'm very happy for the money. Both of mine, especially the .44 mag, needed some break in. I'd buy another if I found one I wanted. I'd say go for it. They are easy to resell as they make them in batches. They are everywhere then nowhere. I spent months tracking down one in .357/.38 special and I jumped on the one I found when it popped up on Gunbroker. I over paid a hair but I'm ok with that because they are relatively cheap to begin with.

I've considered selling the .44 mag but I'm gonna wait until I find a similar one in .357/.38 special. It's the round 20" round barrel in stainless and the new .357/.38 special is a 20" round barrel in blue.
I know where there is a stainless sitting on a LGS shelf.

Sorry it was sold friday evening. This is what happens when like most of us and see a nice deal, go MMMMMMM as we're walking out the door.
