I have two. One in .44 mag and one in .357/.38special. The .44 mag leaves a bruise on my shoulder after 12 rounds. I begin to flinch in anticipation of the pain after about 6 rounds. It hurts to shoot and that's why I found one in .357/.38 special. It's much more pleasant to shoot than the .44 mag.
I do love them both. Just because of the 'cowboy' feel. I'm very happy for the money. Both of mine, especially the .44 mag, needed some break in. I'd buy another if I found one I wanted. I'd say go for it. They are easy to resell as they make them in batches. They are everywhere then nowhere. I spent months tracking down one in .357/.38 special and I jumped on the one I found when it popped up on Gunbroker. I over paid a hair but I'm ok with that because they are relatively cheap to begin with.
I've considered selling the .44 mag but I'm gonna wait until I find a similar one in .357/.38 special. It's the round 20" round barrel in stainless and the new .357/.38 special is a 20" round barrel in blue.
