Looks interesting, but I never trust the history channel for my theology.

I enjoyed it. Time compression is what you get in TV and movies.

I watched it on Sunday and I enjoyed it even though with the time lapses I feel like it glosses over a few things. The Asian, dual sword wielding angel in Sodom was a bit odd to me though.

Mark Barnet and Romy Downy are both deeply spiritual people and really tried to tell a great story the entire family would be able to watch. History unfortunately was the only network that would air it.

Word is 13 million watched on Sunday so I'm sure there are a few network execs kicking themselves about now.

I watched it but felt like I was watching a repost !!! Kept expecting "repost" to come up on the screen or at least a disclaimer by HBAR

I'm sure you can find some online TV watching site or if you know how to Bit Torrent you can get it that way...

I watched it off my DVR last night, the production value was pretty good for a history channel mini-series. I concur with what everyone is saying, it does kind of fast forward, but yeah, 10 hours... I had kind of mixed feelings with the way that "God" and his angels showed up for Abraham, but other than that I enjoyed the first part... especially when Lot was saved from Sodom.

I'm gonna wait until it's all out on DVD and then pirate it. Yes, pirate The Bible. Grin.

On another note... if this is a History Channel vision of it, does that mean that the Creation weaves in some ancient aliens in a far-reaching conspiracy? Just sayin...

    Two questions:
why nobody really looks middle eastern and why the hell most historical movies have their actors speak with a british accent?
    Does not help with credibility...

Historical accuracy aside, "middle eastern' hasn't be a redeeming attribute for the last decade or so.
