Default And some say i shouldn't be doing this....

    Shooting guns with a child?

Well what ever anyone thinks about it, my daughter had a marvelous time shooting today. She showed more responsibility than I've seen out of any youngster lately.
She respected the firearm rules and just did a hell of a lot of bonding with the old dad. So even if they are trying to make mine the last generation of shooters, they have
    a long way to go.

    Just a damn good afternoon.

Turns out she's a darn good shot too

That is awesome. I will be taking my daughter out shooting, I hope, next Sunday and give her some experience with my 9mm. She like the Bushy and wants to shoot it again too.

Shit if they tell you that, then I wait to see what they tell me! My son knows more about firearms than I (hate to admit) I do..... Wait until they see him (a 10 y.o)in my launch videos!!

Nice job with the lil lady!

The people who think that is wrong are the same people that have never shot a gun and don't think anybody should. For the rest of us this is just part of growing up. Good for you and forget them. The problem is more people should be doing this!

I'd like to add mine in here too. Teaching firearms safety to my girls is one of the best things I've done for them. We have enjoyed so many hours of great family fun and both girls have matured in the areas of responsibility and focus. The three of us are signed up to take a hunter's safety class this summer. The little one is absolutely deadly accurate with her Cricket rifle. She can dead-center a golfball at 35 yards EVERY TIME.

Do it whenever we get a chance.. Everyone should make a effort to counter the "Marxist hand wringing" taught in schools about the evil of firearms.
