In our state alone, more than 7,200 veterans will return from conflict with a traumatic brain injury (TBI) – a serious, yet invisible injury. For those with traumatic brain injury, the transition to civilian life can be especially difficult.

All of the proceeds from the event will benefit Operation TBI Freedom, a unique program of Rocky Mountain Human Services that provides comprehensive services to military personnel, veterans and their families affected by TBI. Our military support specialists, all veterans themselves, understand the experiences and struggles our clients face and provide the support they need to successfully transition back into our communities.

My wife works at RMHS so we went to this event last year and had a good time. We're big fans of Dry Dock anyway, and this is a good cause to donate to. You'll want to come early if you want food, it disappears pretty quickly.

Kevin and his wife always put on some good spreads for the charity events. They usually bust out some reserve beers for samples for this and their cancer events, usually a firkin of something interesting. Plus their home fleet and seasonals are top notch brews. They have gotten at least one medal in each World Beer Cup and GABF since they opened.

Dry Dock makes some very awesome beers I always stay and have a few when I stop by The Brew Hut for home brewing supplies. If all of that food is being cooked by FreshCraft than $25 is a pretty good price with 2 beers included. Sounds like I'm gonna have to make a drive to Saudi Aurora next week!
