Can we stop with the victim card? Just listen with an open mind for a second. I think it is extremely useful to try to educate the libs on their errors at every opportunity, and for that, I commend you. However the point here is that you don't have to vote D to have credibility with the left, and it hurts the cause. You gotta stop this victim card stuff though. It is not constructive. Criticism isn't a bad thing, it is how we learn of our screw ups and how we grow wiser.

People who think that there is nothing to gain by trying to change the minds of people on the other side are just as much of a problem as the people who who are trying to ban guns. Because they make it that much easier for them. Because people like you guys who hound me, drive off all the middle of the road people..........Then you wonder why no one is left to defend you. All this garbage thats is happen now is just as much to blame on the extreme right because they REFUSE to ever be rational about it.

The extreme Right and extreme Left have a lot more in common with each other than they do with the majority, which tends towards moderate or "middle of the road." Extremists think everyone needs to be in lockstep and agree with every single one of their opinions, but the Right is wrong a third of the time, and the Left is right a third of the time, and people don't want to get 100% behind either party when they're ignoring facts and failing to modify their position to reflect reality. Extremists are destroying BOTH parties, and unfortunately they have the loudest voices and most influence on policy.

Jim, lets just look at it this way, I never expect you to ever agree with me 100%. I don't expect anyone too. But there are occasions where I do agree with you and I make the effort to acknowledge that out in the open. Does not matter how often I do try to show common ground, you still keep poking at me.
