Actually, the basics are all over the interweb and even in the Encyclopedia Brittanica, as well as the composition of improvised low explosive propellants . . . that has been out there for decades. HOWEVER, an IED requires a detonator, or at least an ignitor, to function . . . that is the one essential part that they do not show in detail. Very simple to fabricate one once you know how, but the average person won't be able to figure it out on their own.
