    Default Antique Ammo and Such

    More pic's, scroll down.

I have had this box and its contents for a long time, probably close to 20+ years. I thought that I had lost it when we moved from CA in 1999 but we moved a couple of months ago and there it was, buried under stuff in the garage. These pic's are just what can be seen from the top. Over the next day or two I will carefully dig into the box and post more photos of the contents for your viewing and discussion pleasure. I have no idea of the age of this stuff so maybe some of you can let me know what it is I have here.

Starting on the left there is a bandoleer with ammo, the head stamp is FS 4 06 and you can see it is a rounded point on the bullet. The bandoleer has markings and I will try to post a clear photo in another post. The boxes of ammo are partials and there is .30-30 and 250-3000 calibers. Then there is a partial box of "Mid-Range" clean cutting .38 special, I would guess is target ammo. Next to them are two boxes of . 45 ACP and I will devote a post to just them to morrow. The can of Hoppes is a full can of round cleaning patches.

Lastly is the box itself, does anyone have any knowledge of just what and when it is?

    Thanks and enjoy.
