Yeah, I'm trying to convince my sister to let me start teaching her 11-year-old son -- she has no problems (now) with me taking the 13-year-old to the range but for some reason wants to talk about the 11-year-old's "maturity". I told her maturation is one of the reasons we teach boys to shoot and I just helped do range safety for a bunch of 6-10 year olds down at the Cheyenne Mountain Shooting Complex a couple weeks ago.

Well done. I take my daughters out shooting also. Not as often as we would like but have been doing it since they were 2 years old and they're now 18.

Robby, first off, good on ya! Hope it was fun... But the thing I'm wondering, how old is your daughter? By that picture she looks like a teen, not young enough to be classified as a "child." Just saying. Has she asked for an AR-15 for her birthday, yet?

She'll be a teen late this year. Her favorite is the 10/22 but we only had the bolt action 22LR with us yesterday. She has yet to shoot an AR but I think once she does......yes that will be on her birthday wish list.
