Not to mention the bribes we pay warlords... "tribal leaders" in Afghanistan to not attack convoys coming in from Pakistan. They found out early on that it's cheaper to pay cash bribes than have Apache and Blackhawk escorts. Of course I figured it might be cheaper to have more than one pallet of MRE's on a 5 ton, or more than 7 cases of 5.56 ammo on a flatbed hemmat.

Default Furloughs, sequester, foreign aid, WTF?(lame ass rant attempt)

This is going to sound F'd up, but I wouldn't be sad one bit if a giant meteor wiped out DC.

Thats a tactical decision. Don't put all of your eggs in one basket in case you lose a basket. Don't get a shipment? no big deal. Plus you're stringing out the forces that would attack your supply lines. Drawing them out as often as possible so you can decimate them a little at a time.

    HOWEVER.

Combining that tactic with payment for safe passage is stupid. Let them attack. Kill them, money saved in the long run.

Is it really a "mistake" if those same elites pocketed the lions share of that 3.1 trillion?

It would suck for me because I would probably be recalled to active duty. I have been through enough bullshit. If the .gov has a alien spaceship stashed, assign it to me now. Incompetent bastards...

I saw an overstaffing of TSA agents today at 2 different airports so far. I really think they could get cut to save some ATC jobs. So far no delays and no problems for me though.
Its all smoke and mirrors. Cutting a percentage of the increase of money you Dont have is not a cut at all.
All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break em for no one.

    My Feedback

I'm sure if DC suddenly disappeared, 75% of the WORLD's problems would disappear also.

Damn straight, it's smoke and mirrors. Department of Transportation forced the majority of its budget "cuts" on the FAA to make sure it was painful for the public. It's like little kids throwing a tantrum.

I give the OP a 7/10 for the rant. Nice use of intermittent caps and profanity, but the cursing lacked true high-seas flavor/creativity.

And those 545 people are only the middle-management in the whole cancerous blob... if Satan were Colonel Sanders, the 545 would be the assistant managers of the local KFC.

    :-)

Most of the TSA agents are contractors, pretty much mall security with a better title. They are not affected by the sequester.
