Most law enforcement agencies offer ride alongs. You normally fill out a request and a release from liability, a cursory background check is performed on you, and you are assigned to an officer for all or part of a shift. Most agencies allow you to pick your shift/times.Originally Posted by Sparky

A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America ' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.'
That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.
