Default SO who here ordered their 5.11 Tactical Duty Kilt?

I see 5.11 went ahead with their Tactical Duty Kilt. It is a pre-order; however, the pre order ends the 30th of this month. Thinking about it, but it is $69 and wont be shipping until September.

    So who is getting one?

Depends on how much Scottish you have in you. I think there would be no advantage other than not having to undo your pants when you relieve yourself, that is if you are a true Scottsman.

................I think it is more of a "novelty" than anything, just to say; "I have a tactical duty kilt."

Chick magnet. Of course, the trade off is you'll probably get in a fight every time you go to the pub.

That's not a bad price for a kilt. Beats $300+ for a Utilikilt.

They are nice for hiking. I have an old Mountain Hardware Elkcommando that is pretty light weight.

Can those pockets hold a six pack?
