DENVER (CBS4)- A bill being debated at the state Capitol would give illegal immigrants driver’s licenses. For the first time since similar measures have been proposed by lawmakers, some members of law enforcement are supporting the idea.
The Colorado Police Chiefs and Sheriffs Associations are backing the bill.
Supporters of the bill argue that hundreds of illegal immigrants are already on the roads and it’s safer for everyone if they’re licensed and insured.
Opponents of the bill believe it’s a slippery slope and would make Colorado a magnet for illegal immigrants.

Don't wanna get shot by the police?
"Stop Resisting Arrest!"
Like we already aren't a magnet for illegal immigrants?
You mean Illegal ALIENS! I'm sick of the way this is cleaned up to be politically correct. They aren't immigrants, they are fuking aliens!!!

"The revolution will not be televised... Instead it will be filmed from multiple angles via cell phone cameras, promptly uploaded to YouTube, Tweeted about, and then shared on Facebook, pending a Wi-Fi connection."
So you're going to have someone, who is committing a crime by being here, report to law enforcement. Instead of arresting and deporting someone for their failure to immigrate legally, we're going to issue them a permit to drive on our roadways legally.
Makes perfect sense.![]()
What makes them think that a driver's license equates to getting insurance?
