    Default New to the forum, been meaning to join for years...

    ...as I've been "lurking" in the shadows, reading alot of posts in these forums. Just never got around to registering and getting active, "life" just kept getting in the way. No more!

    I have owned a few ARs in my time (sold my original AR-180 and my first AR-15 because they scared my GF at the time; WHAT WAS I THINKING?!?!?), and due to recent political developments, I decided to go out and but two more lower recievers (builds almost completed, just waiting for the uppers to arrive), one of which is for my current SO, who is NOT scared by the bad black guns. In fact, from what I've seen, she may be a better shot than me! :-S

    I've shot mostly recreational, used to work for a CO state agency where I had to qualify quarterly but gave that job up in favor of Nursing School. I have never shot competitively (though I did take a safety course to start shooting IPSC, just never ended up arriving at my first match), and would very much like to become an active and regular shooter again.

    I'm looking forward to getting to know the members of the CO AR-15; you've always sounded like a pretty good bunch of folks.

    So, to echo AR in HR... where and when do we go shoot?

    And you're correct PanamaDave, I do in fact know that there are great and knowledgable folks in these here forums! I'm especially looking forward to meeting up with some reloaders who might be able to impart enough knowledge so that I can finally break out the brand-new in the box Dillon 550B progressive press I've had sitting in a corner of my dining room for about 6 years now. It makes me want to cry when I think about all the shooting I could have done, and for so much cheaper if I'd just gotten on the ball with it! :-(
