    Default Your Favorite Westerns

Anything with Clint Eastwood. And, personally, I liked Young Guns and Tombstone.

I like the Clint Eastwood films. The original True Grit and Rooster Cogburn, Rio Bravo, The Cowboys and most of the rest of the John Wayne movies. Tombstone is great. Jeremiah Johnson is fantastic with all the scenery, just beautiful, I enjoyed Will Geer's character but I would have let those tourons freeze to death.

JJ - I can skin most anything, WG - Cocky for a starving pilgrim.

It sounds cliche, but The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly stands out for me because of Ennio Morricone's score. La Storia Di Un Soldato is my favorite. It's in english (and obviously sung by italians) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_2LLVJBVufM
In the movie it's played at the union POW camp (so confederate prisoners) when they're interrogating prisoners. The bridge fighting between the Union & Confederate troops with the Union Captain was just beautifully done.

A cool villain in another film was Gauche in Red Sun.

Maybe not quite a western, per say, but I"m gonna throw out The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams as an honorable mention.
