However; a majority of us on here I am certain are far more likely to agree that drinking a fine alcoholic beverage is far more acceptable than imbibing in the use of marijuana for recreational purposes. Just sayin'.

And depending on who you talk to, knitting is far more socially acceptable than being involved in firearms. Making an argument about what is and isn't acceptable in society is pretty easy when you have a selective audience.
