I understand the law and am not forgetting anything. Wearing a shirt with with a plant on it is not against the law and has no bearing on the sale. If the person answers the questions correctly the can purchase a firearm.

Likewise for pot heads. One of them runs / owns multiple business here and down south. The drunks i knew were for the most part docile until they started tossing back a few. Then their manhood took over, usually not for the best. So we can agree to disagree. Po Tah Toe, poTot Toe

Can you wear a tshirt with a pot leaf on it? Sure.

I think the question is, should a tshirt with a pot leaf be worn while making a firearm purchase? In today's frenzied finger-pointing climate, it may not be the best impression to make to walk into a gun store wearing any sort of "I heart cannabis" symbols. In the same token, it would not make the best impression to wear any sort of "statement" items; shirts decorated with dead-terrorist targets, gang symbols, racist-toned or otherwise- it all adds to the impression that gun owners are unbalanced and anti-social, "dangerous" types. Is it a little overboard? Sure it is. Are the anti-gun folks just dying to point out anything relating to guns that might prove them right? Of course they are.

Like it or not, we're lumped into a "we vs. they" struggle. We represent the gun owners and Pro 2A enthusiasts. Tell me you don't flinch a little bit at the news when there's been a shooting or something gun-related that nibbles away at the credibility we have. Why would you want to give the other side any more reason to grab a cell phone picture and post it on their blog with a caption that supports their opinion?
    Well put.

"or" is the word here.. Who here isn't addicted to caffeine.. a stimulant? Alcohol is a depressant so anyone wearing a beer tshirt or a starbucks tshirt should be just as suspect as a marijuana shirt

    How about a straight jacket?

    A pair of cuffs?

    A bloody shirt?

    Pantyhose over your head?

Man folks up in arms ..............

If I owned the gun shop.knowing it was my ass on the line.......

I'd not sell to them either.. cuz well lets face it 99.9% of the time someone who wears pot related clothing .. smokes on the regular ...
sure I guess out of 1000 of the pot related shirt wearing folk 1 doesn't smoke... but if he was dumb enough to wear that shirt while buying a gun .... maybe he's too stupid to own one.
