    I second the price issue's with 5280. I like supporting the local guy the best I can, but sheesh. I won't do it at that kind of loss. He is even higher than sportsmans whorehouse on wolf ammo. and not by a little. I might have to go to Jensens. Haven't been there before.

    Jensen's was a zoo today. Their inventory of EBRs was pretty thin. I got the last Standard M1A aside from the display.

    They seem bothered by the rush and by the cause of it. They're overwhelmed with business because of the election of somebody that's going to do everything possible to put them out of business. They were very disorganized and I believe that added to the employee's stress level. They wouldn't try to let people know when their CBI check had come back so that they could pay and get out of the store. I went around the corner to the Ace hardware store and bought a Walther P22 45 minutes after doing the paperwork at Jensen's. The folks at Ace took my phone number and told me they would call when the paperwork had cleared.

    I got the call from Ace while I was waiting in Jensen's. I picked up the pistol at Ace and then came back to Jensen's. All the folks at Jensen's would tell me is that the backlog at CBI was over 500. I kept telling them that's now, but I did the paperwork this morning. I had to explain that I had bought a pistol at another store 45 minutes after doing paperwork there and I had already picked it up. Again, they told me that the queue was over 500 people. I explained that both stores are using the same CBI system. They finally checked and my paperwork had cleared and I was ready after all.

    I don't know how they are on a usual day, but the first experience wasn't, let's say, optimal.

    Orchards Ace Hardware in Loveland has quite the selection of firearms. They had an M1A and their price was only about $50 higher than Jensen's. They had sold out of ARs but did have a SIG 556. They had a really nice selection of shotguns and rifles as well. They had handguns that were new and used. They even had one of the Springfield 9mm XD-M pistols that just came out.

    Here, found a link;
    http://www.orchardshardware.com/sporting-goods

    There are VERY few hardware stores with gun departments remaining, but we are one because we love 'em. We generally stock around 600 rifles, shotguns, and handguns and are always BUYING, SELLING, and TRADING.

    Check out our full inventory now by visiting our online Gun Shop
    I doubt their "full inventory" is on the website. I thought I saw more than what was listed, including a couple of RIA and SIG 1911s, but a lot of it is there.

    I found out about the hardware store when I was chatting with one of the locals who had commented about my M1A and that he had a couple and was making an ammo recommendation. He was telling his friends that they were going to head over to the hardware store. I made the comment that I thought Jensen's was the hardware store. He told me, "Oh, they also sell guns over at the hardware store." I just had to check that out while my CBI paperwork was processing. If the local Ace had a gun counter like that one, I'd never have any money.

    Typo. But I did a double take as well. Sounds like something I'd want.

    I was hoping that it was like this example from the movie Predator;
