Got an exciting email...

From Senator Udall. It says in part:

"Even if a perfectly drafted assault weapons ban were signed into law, we would still be left with easy access to millions of military-style weapons on our streets today - which is why it is so important to also ensure that a background check is conducted on every gun sale."

So I rushed outside, hoping that I could find a few of these military-style rifles just laying out on the street and give them a good home. Couldn't find a single damn one of them... ???

Back tracking. They realized sticking 9 other amendments in the last BGC bill got it killed so they will make one more ploy with it by itself. This will be their big win.
