Default Steven Spielburg to direct 'American Sniper'

Looks like Steven Spielberg is going to direct Bradley Cooper as Chris Kyle in the movie version of 'American Sniper'.
    Interesting.

I wouldn't hold your breath. But I think they'll do well. I hope and pray Mr. Spielburg does Chris Kyle justice!

Except Wahlberg is already playing a SEAL in Lone Survivor.

His brother Donnie would be OK, at least he's pretty bad ass in Blue Bloods.

Every time I hear Donnie mentioned I first think of this:

Well if the movie is half is good as the book it will a tribute to a awesome soldier and human being and one bad mfer. Spielburg only takes on stuff he can knock out of the park so it should be interesting to so what way he goes at it. The book is a good read but I'm not sure how you do justice to one of best snipers in out day in a movie fit for public viewing.

He's a good director, but I don't much care for his politics. I'm not expecting to be impressed.
