How would you rate them to a RRA?
    Thanks for the help.

Well I don't know, its hard for me to compare a complete kitted rifle to another completed kit rifle. the MP15T comes with Troy Rail system, and Troy Flip up back and front sights which alot of people highly praise, and very warrented as they are real nice and snap to place with just a finger. The barrel is a true float barrel as far as i'm aware of since what I can see that the barrel only touches the Upper. its also a little heavier due to the Troy rail system, which isn't that big of a deal.

Personally you probably can build the same rifle for cheaper the MSRB but I bought it because I heard good reviews through Magazines and such, and the thing is built sturdy everything is correctly stacked. My only gripe is that I have one of the first production MP15T so the lower doesn't like Magpuls which I have 6 of. but nothing you can't fix with a dremel.

New S&W have mag problem fixed? Gun hasn't left factory yet. I'm getting it for cost. Dad best friend, my other daddy is direct dealer in Pa. I just have always liked RRA over anything else. With the current price hike on the RRA's, Smiths are still in my price range at cost.

Rock River makes some really good AR-15. As good or maybe better than a Smith.

Smith doesent have the track record that others do.

Keep in mind that Camp Perry was won with a Smith based AR-15. Story here. http://accurateshooter.wordpress.com...-championship/

The only thing 'AR' on that rifle is that it happens to be made of aluminum.

Yep, S&W newer models went with another companies lower then what they used in the first production models. And I heard cases where you could reship your rifle back to S&W and they would replace it for you free, but I don't have the urdge to do all that work just so I can use Pmags, when i can just grind a little plastic to make it work.

S&W has a great service organization. If you're having an issue, I'd call them and see what they say. I've had pistols repaired at no charge to me, including shipping. They sent me a FedEx return tag. I even bent the slide stop spring on my SW99 .45. I sent it back, included my CC information so they could charge me for my screw up. They fixed it free of charge.

I believe the early guns were built by CMT/Stag. The current guns are being produced in-house.

I wish technology solved people issues. It seems to just reveal them.

FYI, Stag makes the S&W rifles. Nothing wrong with that...
