Default Is Jensen Arms closed for Vets day? I want my dpms lr308

Anyone know if Jensen is closed for Veterans day? I popped in to pick up a DPMS lr-308 on saturday... Couldn't pick it up till today because of the lag on bg checks. I'm calling to make sure and it is busy all morning. Bob might just have a ton of business again.

Anyone know a good compensator/flash hider that will mount to the end of the 24" stainless barrel? Any recommendations on a scope?

Happy Veterans day! And Happy USMC Birthday yesterday!!!

No idea on their hours.. but for the FS - PWS's FSC 30 is getting great reviews - http://primaryweapons.com/store/pc/v...5&idproduct=37

Optics really depend on what you want to do and how much you are willing to spend.

That looks like a cool one Badshot... Thanks for the quick response.

For a scope- I'm probably going to be target shooting 300-500m and hopefully hunting a bit.

I just found a bank that is open so I'm off to get my cash for the LR and head up. I'll post a pic of their emptying wall of ARs if anyone is interested. Bob said he has sold 70% of his ARs as of Sat..

Default Yup they are open, and running out fast

Heh, they took the phone off the hook yesterday because they are so damn busy.

Here is a pic of J at Jensen and the top shelf of ARs. In this one you can see 12/30 slots are empty. Bob said he usually has 10-20 guns behind each on display. So they have run through a LOT. Magazines are disappearing quick there.

Anyone else stocking up right now? I just ordered 6 saiga12 mags, 2 20 round drums, 6 mags for this new lr380...

The range isn't really the issue here, it's how much you're willing to spend.. you can start around $300 for pretty decent glass and go up to $2500 for god like pure vision to 1000m .. and everything in between.

So at ranges like that you should consider a optic with lots of range in the adjustments and or a 20MOA base to get some extra range out of the elevation adjustments. Make sure you spend the money on a good set of rings or mount.. Badger, Leupold, LaRue and a few others are all more than solid. The prices can seem traumatic though.

Another option is a fixed magnification optic like a ACOG and several others that are low variable magnification e.g. 1-4x and so on.

J helped me with my M1A purchase. He also tried to talk me into a suppressor. He's good working the gun counter. I'd like to get one for my 22s and another for my ARs while I still can.

    ...pun intended.

yeah i really want that gemtech upper for my mkII govt target model. The integrated can is barely longer than my current bull barrel. Just having trouble deciding if I can spend more than the $2k I gave them today.

I think Jensens was the best EBR shop around, until there price hike.
I know it's a free county but maybe give us CO AR-15 guys the old discount.
