    Default Never Again!!!!

I will never purchase another Chrysler producr EVER AGAIN!!!! In the last six months I've had the following replaced on my 09' Ram 1500 w/ only 67K miles on it.

    Fuel Injectors
    Coil
    Coil springs
    ABS Computer Module
    Lifters
    Camshaft
And just this week, the Valve-intake Short Running Valve and its sister components.

To make matters worse, I've driven it a total of 5 miles since I got it back this week before my trip to AZ. I take it out this afternoon and the damn thing started shaking/vibrating and shut off and left the entire family stranded at the Olive Garden.

Good thing I have the lifetime powertrain warranty and lifetime extended warranty, roadside assistance came and towed the POS back to the dealership.

Chrysler either needs to replace the entire engine at this point or buy this damn problem child back from me and we can part ways!!!

The kicker.....in all of the confusion I lost my damn Debit Card :-/

Automatic transmissions need good size coolers in front of the radiator. My book on my chevy says change the fluid every 100,000 miles. I'm gonna change it next week at 22k miles. I went and bought a transmission pan and had a drain plug fitting welded in. 2 months ago the body control module died. It was cold and the battery got low, low battery killed it. Installed a Optima advanced glass matte battery. These newer technology trucks suck. So finicky! I keep an eye on the truck forums, as these guys are very good at fixing the vehicles and doing preventative modifications. Some of the shittiest engineering I have ever seen...

GM products in general are pretty awful nowadays, with a few exceptions. The Corvette is solid and Cadillac should be viewed as a separate entity. Get a Ford.

Caddy does a LOT of their own R&D, they aren't just a rebadged GM (see: Dodge and Chrysler). Their designs are mostly their own from the ground up.

The problem I see in this thread is you have a lot of people saying "we'll my '99 was solid" or "my '02 was a POS". We are in a different WORLD in the automotive landscape right now, especially post-2008. GM has been on a downward spiral and Ford has been bringing in a lot of European talent (their overseas entity is hugely successful and talented, the Mondeo is a car that is of legend in England).

Used to in College, then dad told me I needed to make a lot of money to buy the cars I wanted, so I took a different path. Still follow the industry very closely.

One of my old toys, and probably the scariest car I've ever owned.

I want to get either and F-150 or an F-250. I need to find a great deal though since my truck is paid off and I'm not looking forward to a new car payment, especially with another child on the way come August.

I love my f350 20 mpg and endless power. Pulls a 10000+ lb trailer like its not there and will break the tires loose in second gear
