Default Another Armslist Scam? What do you think?

There is a AK-47 for sale on Armslist:

    http://www.armslist.com/posts/244923...nderfolder-aks

These is a great gun and are much rarer than the 7.62X39mm Norinco Ak's. This one has been shot but not much. It is all matching and comes with one orignal Norinco mag.. This is a nice gun don't let it pass you by!!

I contacted the seller and asked if he was interested in a partial trade/cash deal and where was he located in CO. He replied that he was only interested in selling so i said I was still interested, where in CO are you located? Here is the reply:

Glad to know you're interested in my Gun. But I must let you know I'm not in CO, at the moment. I'm in Kansas for an emergency. My daughter had an accident so I had to rush down here. You know family emergencies takes priority. Her mom and I are separated so she lives with her here.. And I won't be coming back anytime soon. But I brought the gun here with me because I know I might probably come up with a deal with a buyer and I'll have to ship the gun out from here. My FFL dealer has it in custody already and it's ready to ship out to a serious buyer. So if you still want to have a deal, let me know. Then I'll give out my number and some other things you need so we can talk on Payment and the shipment of the gun will be handled by my local FFL dealer here via FedEx or Ups.
    Thanks

What do you all think? Scam or Legit?

    Scam.

If it was legit, he would say he can meet you when he gets back to CO.

Tell him you will send your agent to pick his item up along with a check for way more than what he is actually asking and he just has to cash the check and send you part of the money back. You know the drill.

You might as well have a little fun with it: -reply and tell him that as luck would have it, you will be leisurely driving through Kansas this coming week and would like to pay him in cash prior to him shipping it to your FFL. Tell him that your schedule is wide open, you can meet whatever day and in whatever town is convenient for him.

Did I read this incorrectly, or was he offering to ship to your FFL? If that is the case, then it shouldn't matter where he was living.

Listing went up today, and he already drove to KS and left the gun at a FFL?

I don't know about him, but for family emergency i would not care what I'm selling and run over there right away.

Gee, even willing to violate Colorado's "golly we're all safer now" magazine law by selling it with the mag....

If interested I would get the holding FFL's info and contact him as to the validity of the item.
You never know, he could have gone out there with the rifle and needed extra cash.

That is if you are interested in it.
