    Don't read too much into that article. Media hype. We are not out sourcing all of our Defense Comms to the Chinese. The military rents commercial transponder space all the time to fill in gaps here and there.

    The path for this started back when we ended tariffs and handed them our manufacturing.

    The Chinese can manufacture tech faster and cheaper than anyone else . . . and quality is usually okay . . . but I wouldn't trust them.

    Our mil and gov use off the shelf and pre-existing commercial comm satellites all the time. Nothing to be concerned about here.
