I tried for about 5 minutes with a G19 and all I accomplished was giving myself a sore back.

Yep!! Like if there is only one (1) round in the cylinder of a six shot revolver and that round will NOT be in line with the barrel the next time the trigger is pulled/squeezed, I believe that firearm is still considered "LOADED". Right?? Same difference.

Another REPOST - because I thought surely someone would agree with the above. With only one cartridge in the revolver it may have to be cocked or have trigger pulled/squeezed a couple times (maybe even 5 times) before the cartridge is in line with the barrel for firing. So wouldn't the LEOs still consider this firearm as being LOADED?

No way even my good shoulder could handle that...much less the bad one. I'll have to stick to the old reliable method. Give that dude props, though. Pretty slick. I wonder how that works with some smaller guns with stiffer springs and less mass in the slide...PPK/S or something similar.

Like to see him do it with 1911's. Or other pistols as was mentioned. And he's probably the only guy in the world that can do that. Like he said, more of a gimmick than a technique.

It doesn't. The smaller the mass in the slide the harder he'd have to sling it like that.... there's zero chance that will work with a micro pistol.

I've seen guys do that in competition. It does seem like a gimmick for young men.

Nothing wrong with that knowing you need to work on some skills. I'd say good on you for recognizing your need for additional training and competence.

If I recall correctly there is no statutory definition of "loaded" under Title 18 of the CRS. Title 33 requires the chamber of any long gun to be unloaded if it's in a motor vehicle and basically says "loaded" means a round in the chamber of rifle or shotgun.
