2 pistols in bedside safe are loaded, one is my daily carry pistol
another pistol in larger safe is loaded

Pistol: Yes (one is in reach always, the others aren't for all intents and purposes)
Shotgun: No (Should, though...)
Rifle: No

I also practice one handed and off handed. This includes drawing off hand, charging the gun, malfunction corrections, and loading a magazine. Thought this was common procedure, but I'm learning it isn't.
Then again, I didn't realize most people didn't even shoot a box of fifty a month, when I try to go a minimum of twice a month and shoot no less than one hundred rounds for each pistol I take...

I'm gonna have to now...but why would I start a new thread about it?
Not to mention my comment had to do with the "[some thought] you should not have a loaded gun in the home." part. You guys sure seem to focus on one part of a post a lot.
