    Default IS IT LOADED?? Follow up to :::Do you have a fire arm with in arms reach?

    bedside is loaded but not chambered. I was thinking about getting a biometric safe next to the bed and have it in there loaded and chambered. but how fast can you get a gun out of the safe vs racking a loaded gun?

    Why are some of you guys continuing to say your gun is "loaded" when the chamber is empty?

    No way even my good shoulder could handle that...much less the bad one. I'll have to stick to the old reliable method. Give that dude props, though. Pretty slick. I wonder how that works with some smaller guns with stiffer springs and less mass in the slide...PPK/S or something similar.

    It doesn't. The smaller the mass in the slide the harder he'd have to sling it like that.... there's zero chance that will work with a micro pistol.
