    Default Nikon M-308 BDC 800

I search the forum and didn't see anything on this scope so here I go.

I have a Sig 716 Patrol 16" and have been thinking of putting the Nikon M-308 on it. Price is around $500 with mount. Anyone ever use this scope on a AR-10 style platform?

I have done some research and it seem to look ok for the cost. I have also downloaded the Spot On app and it looks to be pretty cool.

    Thanks....

No love for Nikon. Guess I'll buy one and give my opinion.

Nixon is great glass for the money, I don't have any experience with the model you noted but I have a Monarch and Buckmaster that have served very well.

Thanks for the info. I've always used Leupold and or cheaper scopes.

I plan on mounting the M-308 on my Smith. If you want to mess with one, bass pro has one on display.

Mod. I understand this is an optic question but it is related to the AR10. Sorry if I put this in the wrong place.

I have the Nikon M-223 with a 600 yd BDC on my AR-15 and love it. I have it on a Larue LT104 mount for easy mounting. M-223 is definitely worth the price tag (which I think is fairly reasonable). I haven't had the opportunity to reach out to 600yds, but I was shooting a 9.5 inch group at 450 yds prone from a bipod. The magnification adjustment on mine is a little stiff, but I really like the 2-8x magnification flexibility.

    Hope this helps a little.

I have the same rifle and debating an optic for it currently. Did you buy the M-308 and if so how do you like it? What mag did you go with? What mount?
