Once used brass question:

So, I'm de-priming a bunch of brass I got in a trade that's supposed to be once used. Mixed in are the brass pictured below. The old primer pops out pretty easy on the down stroke, but requires more effort on the up than the other mixed brass. Unique markings included the NATO circle/cross stamp, LC, and the number 12. Also there are (4) dash lines surrounding the primer hole in a square pattern, as well as a pattern of circular "dimples".

Can anyone confirm what brand it is, (Lake City?), what the dashes and dimples mean, and if it's ok to reload?

I am pretty sure that is Lake City brass with crimped primers. It should be fine to reload, though you will need to swage the primer pockets to allow for re-insertion of new primers.

Yep, DHC hit the nail on the head.

Lake City manufactured in 2012. Factory crimp will need to be swaged. Its all good I've loaded plenty of them before.

That's because you have different year LC brass. I have mixed years of LC and only the 2012 has 4 way crimp. The Circle Cross is Nato spec / marked. You see it on some 9mm like S&B and a lot of late 80's 308, like Cavim , SA etc.

Thanks for the info guys. I guess the (4) line crimp was what worried me the most. Ive used my RCBS crimp remover bit on M193 brass before, but all those had the crimp ring instead.
